Dogs must be at least 3 months old, and you will need to show a current vaccination certificate for your dog(s). Microchip number is also required for our records.

All new dogs to our club must complete the beginner’s course before becoming members. Considerations are taken for prospective members who have trained/trialled previously or who are transferring from another dog club where your dog has successfully graduated from a beginner’s class.  Each dog will be considered on a case by case basis.

Beginners Course:

Our beginners course runs for 5 weeks in total. The first night is an information session where we explain what you can expect to occur over the next 4 weeks and what we expect from participants.

Obedience Training:
Obedience training is held on Wednesday night at the times shown below.

All Trial Levels (Blue Class): 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Yellow and Brown Classes:  7.00pm – 8.00pm

Show Training:

We conduct Show handling classes on an adhoc basis depending on interest. Classes will go for 1 hour with spaces strictly capped at 8 people at a cost of $25 for 5 classes for members.

Agility Training:
All dogs must be 12months of age before starting Agility. Practical sessions are held on Thursday night 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

5.30pm set-up with those people who are not able to make it for set-up must remain for pack-up.

Weather conditions: If it is seriously raining or extremely hot then we are unlikely to train – check our Facebook page, check the Website, or as a last resort call Kevin on 0418 221 260.

PLEASE NOTE: You must wear enclosed shoes and appropriate dress to train your dog.

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to join the committee as either general committee or executive, volunteers to act as stewards when we hold trials or assist in the canteen, all of which helps the club raise money and continue to provide training to the local area.
