Welcome to WKODC

We welcome all members - whether your dog is big or small, hairy or smooth coated, old or young. All dogs and their owners benefit from the pursuit of canine training. Our classes provide dogs of all ages, size and breed an opportunity to gain confidence in socialising with a variety of other dogs and handlers.

We offer training in Obedience, Agility and Show Training/Ringcraft with Assistance Dog Training coming in 2025. Our experienced trainers will introduce you and your dog to a variety of skills which will allow you to build a positive relationship with your dog, increase your dog's sociability and work to prevent problem behaviours before they arise.

We provide a scholarship via GoTafe every year. Email the club if your are interested in more information.

Our beginner’s dog obedience course is an introduction for both you and your dog to become familiar with the basics of dog obedience. A new group of beginners starts each month, with an introduction lecture held on the last Monday prior to the month.

We invite you to visit training on Wednesday night and introduce yourself, we would love to meet you and your dog!

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to join the committee as either general committee or executive, volunteers to act as stewards when we hold trials or assist in the canteen, all of which helps the club raise money and continue to provide training to the local area.
