My name is Amy Ledger, and I am the owner/operator of Wang Doggy Day Spa, a dog grooming salon in Wangaratta.
We are so much more than a Dog Grooming Salon.
We have a team of qualified Stylists (Groomers). We have at least 1 Veterinary Nurse in the salon every day. We have a Coat Care expert, a Groom Behaviour advisor, and a passionate team that will support your dog's emotional, mental and physical well-being.
We are so proud of what we stand for and the services we can offer your dog. We offer a Puppy Groom Experience, Coat Care appointments, Groom Behaviour Development sessions, 30-minute Confidence Sessions, Myotherapy consultations with Lindsay from Canine Nurture, and correct coat care grooming for dogs of all coat types.
In the salon, we use enrichment, positive reinforcement, high-value treats, play and toys, snuffle mats, licki mats, kongs, adaptil pheromone sprays and diffusers, calming lavender diffusers and calming music to give your dog the best experience. We always provide feedback on your dog's experience in the salon.
We encourage drop-in visits & short confidence-building sessions for new, young, nervous or anxious dogs to build their confidence and tolerance in the grooming salon environment.
We are here to help you and your dog on your grooming journey together.
All information, prices and online bookings can be found on our website. www.wangdoggydayspa.com.au
I’m Lindsay, the founder of Canine Nurture. As a fully qualified Canine Myotherapist, I specialise in treating dogs' muscles using various massage techniques, acupressure, and stretches. Using massage to treat muscles and soft tissues leads to enhanced muscle health, relaxation, alleviation of anxiety, improved flexibility, boosted circulation, pain relief, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Additionally, I train dogs in functional and conditioning exercises aimed at strengthening, stabilising, and realigning their bodies—similar to yoga for humans. These exercises promote joint health, maintain muscle integrity, improve mobility, offer mental stimulation, and sharpen handler focus. By integrating Myotherapy with physical exercise, I achieve more effective outcomes for dogs, whether for rehabilitation, managing chronic conditions, or enhancing performance for working and sporting dogs.
I am deeply committed to advocating for Canine Arthritis Management. I strongly believe in proactive measures to manage and potentially prevent osteoarthritis in dogs. I assist owners with identifying signs of pain in their dogs, recommend lifestyle adjustments to help manage their condition, and teach safe massage techniques to alleviate their discomfort.
I embrace holistic approaches to dog health and well-being, working closely with experienced professionals in the field to deliver thorough care. I strongly advocate a multimodal approach to canine health, recognising its importance in maximising their overall well-being.
