Dogs must be at least 3 months old, and you will need to show a current vaccination certificate for your dog(s). Microchip number is also required for our records.

All new dogs to our club must complete the beginner’s course before becoming members. Considerations are taken for prospective members who have trained/trialled previously or who are transferring from another dog club where your dog has successfully graduated from a beginner’s class.  Each dog will be considered on a case by case basis.

Obedience Training:
Obedience training is held on Wednesday night at the times shown below.

All Trial Levels: 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Yellow and Brown Classes:  7.00pm – 8.00pm

Regular obedience classes are a cost of $5.00 per session, to be paid on the night.

Show Training 

We are going to restart our Show handling classes this Thursday the 14th of March at 5.30. Classes will go for 1 hour with spaces strictly capped at 8 people at a cost of $25 for 5 classes for members (or $45 for non-members)

Classes will cover the socialising of dogs, handling, tricks, and getting the best from your dog in the ring. Learn to work together with your dog as a team.

Agility Training
Agility practical sessions will be held at the Club grounds for those Club members already trialling and those Club members who undertook the Beginners’ workshops at the end of last year. all dogs must be 12months of age before starting Agility

Time: 6.30pm set-up for 7.00pm start.
(Those people who are not able to make it for set-up must remain for pack-up.)

Remember to bring a crate or a tie-out stake and treats/toys, and have your dog wearing a flat collar without any tags. (No martingale collars or check chains.) Your dog’s nails must be short so he can grip the surface of the equipment properly – clip them if necessary.

Training in Dog Sports is conducted on an “as required” basis, depending on the number of members present who are interested in taking part. Please contact the club for more details or to express your interest.
